Good day, cynthia-lavalle.

 

You can pull up the Business and personal expenses report in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This lists all your expenses with categories.

 

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Set the date from the drop-down menu in the Business and personal expenses section.
  3. Click on View.

I need reports of detailed and collated personal income. How can I generate this report using my QBSE entries?

Hi, Thanks for your input.  I am aware of the expense reporting that you mentioned.  But, I am looking for income reporting.  This would include my personal income as well as business invoice income.  I have been creating this types of reports using QB desktop, but I see no way of generating this basis report in QBSE.

I could definitely see how you would want to have an income report. However, the ability to customize QuickBooks Self-Employed reports is currently unavailable. I'll make sure to take note and hopefully, they'll consider this feature in our future update.

Thank you for your response. But this is why I am unable to select the Accepted Solution button.  I think though that a hard core request might work better than a  request for consideration.  So far this product is a step back from your previous desktop offerings.  If this is the Intuit intention, you may have issues down the road.  The ability to customize QuickBooks reports and to add categories would be so helpful to those of us who have used the full product in the past and who don't exactly fit within the box that you have created. 

I hope these changes occur in the near future.
