Backing up your company will ensure you have a copy of your data for future use. Please know that the feature is exclusively available to the QBO Advanced version. You have to upgrade your QuickBooks edition to utilize this within the program.
You can export reports, lists, and other data from the system and save them to your local hard drive instead.
