When submitting your payroll, the funding time will depend on your lead time, Brinny.
If your payroll process has a same-day lead time and you submit on Friday before 7:00 AM Pacific Time (PT), expect your employees to receive the amount on the same day you process the payroll.
However, if payroll is submitted at or after 7:00 AM PT on the payroll day, it will not be processed for same-day payment. Instead, the payroll will be processed on the next available banking day, which typically means that employees will receive their pay within 2 to 3 business days. This delay is due to the need for payroll providers and banks to have enough time to verify, process, and transfer funds through the banking system.
