Is there a report that can be run for inactive inventory?

You can filter (funnel icon) inactive inventory items directly from the Products and Services page. The run report is next to the Edit drop-down arrow under the Action column.

Is there a way in the Reports section to run a Sales by Product detail report where I can filter and see the inactive products sold?

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Community. 

Great news, you can run a sales by product/service detail report and include the inactive. Below are the steps on how you can do this. 

1. Click on the Reports menu. 

2. In the search bar in the top right, type in Sales by and choose Sales by Product/Service Detail from the list. 

3. Click Customize in the top right. 

4. Under the Filter drop-down, be sure that Product/Service is set to All. 

5. Then select Run report. 

Now you will see all of your products and services included in the report. The inactive products and services will show (deleted) next to the name.

Unfortunately, there is no way to filter and see the inactive products sold only.

You will need to run the whole report and look for deleted items or just select the inactive items only from the product/service checkbox. I wish at least they show as the products (deleted) from the list when you filter them.
