Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community.
I have a report that might show everything you need. I recommend using our Sales by Product and Service detail report. This report will show all sales, including products and services invoiced to your customers. You can customize the report to see exactly what product or service was used in the transaction. I've included some steps to run and customize the report below.
Your report should look something like this:
That should do the trick. However, if this isn't the data you're looking for, please don't hesitate to let me know.
For additional information about using sales reports and categories, check out Group products and services into different categories in QuickBooks Online.
I'm only a reply away should you have any questions or concerns. Take care!
Unfortunately this will not work, as the time has not been invoiced. I am looking for a report with the raw data coming from Quickbooks Time. Attached is a screen shot of an example of the data.
I want to be able to reflect the customer/project, the employee, date, time, and Service category, and notes.
Under the projects, there is a report called Time Cost by Employee. This would work, but it does not include the Service Category.
Hi Jasper,
Thank you for getting back here in the Community space. Allow me to step in and share information about the report you can run in QuickBooks Online.
Our Time Activities report allows you to include additional columns and show all the details you need from the time activities. You can click the small gear icon within the report to include the customer/project, employee names, date, time and Service category, and notes.
Here's how:
Aside from printing reports, you can export them to Excel if you want to use your data outside QuickBooks. I've attached a link you can visit for the detailed steps and visual reference of the process: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.
Let us know if you have additional concerns about running a time entry report in QuickBooks. We'll be sure to lend a helping hand. Take care.
