Hello there, drjelectrical1. I'm here to help you track your accountant's login activities in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can access the Audit log, which records all actions performed in your QBO account, you can sign in as an admin, and follow these steps:
- Click on the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
- Select Filter.
- Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
- Click Apply.
Please note that the audit log only records sign-outs when you select Sign out. It won't record when you close your browser, go to another website, or when QuickBooks signs you out automatically due to inactivity. The audit log can display up to 150 records and provides information about any changes, who made them, and the actions taken.
For more details, you can visit this article about the Audit log: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, each time you finish reconciling, QuickBooks Online automatically generates a reconciliation report for that session. The reconciliation report is helpful if you have trouble reconciling the following month, and when you meet with your accountant, you can check this article. How do I view, print, or export a reconciliation report?
If you have any other concerns or questions about your accountant's access to your account, please don't hesitate to reply to this post. I'm always here to help. Stay safe.
