Just upgraded my Mac to High Sierra and now my Quickbooks desktop no longer works, very annoying!

Can't find an option anywhere to upgrade my Quickbooks, I have version 2015?  What do I need to do to make this work?  I can't afford $200 plus dollars for a whole new version.

Did you ever find a solution to this?  I just updated to High Sierra and my QB2013 won't work.  It has all of our information for two companies.  I am very concerned

Hello, MelissaFleet and emwarman07.

I'm here to make sure you'll get back on track.

At this time, QuickBooks Desktop 2015 is not compatible with the High Sierra update. For more details about the system requirements for QuickBooks 2015, you can check out this article: System requirements for QuickBooks 2015 and Enterprise Solutions 15.0.

To upgrade your software, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can help you choose the best product to suit your business needs at an affordable price.

Here's how to get in touch with them:

  1. Go to this link https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select the QuickBooks Orders & Account Management topic.
  3. Click the Manage Your QuickBooks Account sub-topic.
  4. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.

You can always come back if there's anything else you need. Thanks for dropping by and have a good day.

Hi there, I just did the same and I am so irritated with intuit. Have you found a solution that dosen't involve paying more money to this company? I 'm so frustrated that there was no pop-up warning that this program would no longer run with high sierra.

Hello Esteffens,

I only know of one way to be able to get that to work, and that's to downgrade your operating system. There's more info to look over here: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1615867

Let me know if you need anything else.

I have qb 2010 and also upgraded to high sierra. I can't access any part of my data. What is the solution?

Hi there, robertray.

Thanks for joining this thread.

High Sierra is not compatible with the older versions of QuickBooks such as QuickBooks Desktop 2010.

If you wish to access your data, you may want to upgrade to QuickBooks Mac 2016. This allows you to read your old files and information.

You are free to download a trial version that will run for 30 days from this website: www.qblittlesquare.com.

In case you need help from a live support, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Desktop Mac Support. They'll be able to guide you through the whole process.

Here's how you can contact our phone support:

  1. Click this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
  3. Type-in Technical Support on the search bar.
  4. And click Get the Phone number below.

Fill me in for any queries about QuickBooks. I'm always around and ready to answer them for you.
