Loan manager cannot find file after QB update R10 Desktop Pro 2021

I am using Desktop Pro 2021.  All functions of QB were working as they should until after a recent update which I believe was related to the internal browser (Internet Explorer) being discontinued, update R10.  Now when I try to open loan manager I get an error message that says cannot find file.

These are the steps I have performed so far that have been unsucessful.

Ran Quick Fix in th QB tool hub

Made sure IE is in compatibility mode.

I have ran the reboot.bat

then tried to move the .lmr by doing the following:

search for the original .lmr file:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Use the Microsoft Windows Search function to find the original .lmr file.
  3. Right-click the .lmr file in the results list and select Copy. Make sure to select the old .lmr file.
  4. Paste it to a removable disk.

Then, you can rename the empty .lmr file before moving the original file. Here’s how:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Repeat the search described on the first step. Perform this search on the new computer if you moved the company file to a new computer.
  3. Right-click the .lmr file in the results list and select Rename.
  4. Change the file name to oldlmr.old.
  5. Click Yes if a warning message about renaming file extensions appears.
  6. Press Enter to save it.

After that, you’ll need to identify the new location of your company file. Then, copy the .lmr file to the new company file location.

UPDATE: INTUIT IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM SINCE THE UPDATE IN JUNE AND APPARENTLY IS WORKING ON SOLVING THE ISSUE.  I WAS GIVEN THIS NUMBER FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF THIS SPECIFIC ERROR. INV-72984

Loan manager cannot find file after QB update R10 Desktop Pro 2021

Can I switch to manually entering until this is resolved or will I need to set up as new and start all over for this option?
