Move quickbooks online to quickbooks desktop for MACBOOK

Yes, you're right. When moving your files, you'll need to export your files first from QBO to QBDT for Windows. Then, convert them to QBDT Mac.

Just a heads up:

• We can only move company files from QBDT Pro, Premier, or Premier Accountant editions.
• We'll have to ensure that your QBDT is updated to the latest release.
• QBDT for Windows should have the same version or earlier than Mac. For instance, if you're exporting to QBDT for Mac 2022, we'll have to use QBDT for Windows 2022 or earlier versions.

Since you don't have QBDT for Window, you may go to this link: Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop to get a trial version of QBDT we want to use. It contains the license and product numbers we can enter upon installing the sample file.
