Greetings, @KateKosinova.
I'm here to help you and make sure that you'll be able to consolidate your financial reports for 3 companies.
If your three companies have different EINs, each needs to have a separate company file in order to have the taxes recorded correctly. You can just choose the industry of your business. Take a look at this article for more information: Create QuickBooks Desktop Company file: Overview.

Now, to have consolidated financial reports, follow these steps:
Another option is using a third-party application that can combine reports from multiple company files. You can search from the Intuit Marketplace.
The last option is to export the reports from each company file and combine them using an Excel file. Here is an article you can refer to in exporting reports: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.
I also want to include this article to learn more on how to consolidate reports from multiple companies: Combine reports from multiple company files.

Is it possible to do consolidated financial statements in Quickbooks Online?
Creating consolidated financial statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently unavailable, @Madronascliff.
However, you can find a third-party application for managing multiple financial data. Then, integrate it with your QBO account.
Here's how to access the Apps tab within QBO:
Also, you can access the QuickBooks App Store to find an app that fits your needs.
On the other hand, you can also have the option to manually combine financial statements by exporting your financial reports into an Excel file from your QBO company and then manually combining each data.
Here's how to export a report to Excel within QBO:
Furthermore, you can check out this article to learn how to save the current customization of your report for future needs: Memorize reports in QBO.
It's my pleasure to offer you further help with consolidated financial statements. Let us know below. Have a great day.
You can use a BI app to do so.
