First, make sure to update QuickBooks to the latest release. This provides maintenance release and product updates to fix known issues, add features and enhancements, as well as update compliance information.
Then, check your email settings and filter preferences. If you’re using Gmail, make sure to enable access for less secure apps and set access preferences for specific apps, like QuickBooks.
For Yahoo! Mail, go to your Yahoo Account security page and turn on the Two-step verification and Allow apps that use less secure sign in features.
But if you’re using other email services, check your security and filter settings and ensure that QuickBooks isn't blocked.
