New to Mac version, using QB 2020 Mac. I cannot click a downloaded payee from my bank transaction feed to edit account name. I turned off all renaming rules, etc... the entire row is highlighted, but I cannot click within a box to edit.

Hello there, @MassIntCon.

Let's reinstall your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac to isolate this issue. Let me guide you how.

To uninstall your QBDT for Mac, you can follow these steps:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Finder menu, then select Applications.
  3. Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Trash.

Then to install:

  1. Download your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac version or use the CD installer (if purchased from a retailer).
  2. Close all running applications.
  3. Double-click the downloaded installer or insert the disc into the Mac CD drive.
  4. Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Applications folder.
  5. Double-click the QuickBooks icon to open the application.

I got you this article that provides detailed steps in installing your QBDT for Mac software: Install and set up QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

I'm also adding this article that can guide you accurately in reconciling your account: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts (Mac).

Do get back to me in case you have any other concerns or questions. I'm always around to help. Take care and always stay safe.
