Online Essentials account was deleted

I processed a subscription payment on my essentials online account.  My account is now inactive.  Online support says the account was deleted because it was inactive for 1 year.  It was inactive.  I use it every week for over a year now.  The re-subscribe process took the money from my bank account but QB deleted my account.   QB support says there is nothing they can do to get it back.

Is this normal QB behavior?

Anyone had this happen to their account?
