Quickbooks seems awful - I need help

I've just started using Quickbooks. Or at least, started to try ac nd use it. I signed up for the free trial but it is completely impossible to upgrade myself to a fully functioning subscription. Everything I try to do ends with a pop up that says 'async and reliability' - some sort of code jargon. I tried allowing popups for the site - still the same problem. I can't process invoices because every action gets blocked. I can't access my 'setup' page any more. I am pulling my hair out with frustration! Anyone else experienced this? I have 12 hours before I give up and use a different platform. I need to be paid!

Quickbooks seems awful - I need help

Best suggestion I can give, is DON'T use QB.  You WILL regret it.

Quickbooks seems awful - I need help

I can see the urgency of how you want to meet the tight deadlines. Let's sort this out so you'll be able to use QuickBooks again, SarahSarahSarah.

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to help fix the issue. You can use a private browser to enhance the functionality of the application. You'll find the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

Once you're able to proceed to the page, you can clear the browser's cache to keep this from happening again. Too much-cached data can slow down QuickBooks and causes unusual behavior. You can also opt for other supported browsers.

However, if you're still seeing the error, you can try using another card or updating another billing information. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser. Don't use the mobile app.
  2. Select your profile ⚙ icon and then Billing info.
  3. In the Payment Information section, select Edit ✎.
  4. In the Wallet list, you can choose the second option to add another new payment for online billing:
    • Edit the payment method used for QuickBooks Online billing (expiration date, billing address, and account holder name)
    • Add a new payment to be used for QuickBooks Online billing
    • Switch QuickBooks Online billing to the previously stored payment method
  5. After saving your change, the payment method will be displayed in the Payment information section

Additionally, here's a quick overview of everything about QuickBooks Self-Employed. To know more about this, read this article for your reference: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Please get back to us if you have any concerns about your account. We're always right here to help.
