Does anyone know how to actually reach the Intuit Accounting Dept to stop another company from charging their payroll subscription on my personal credit card? I have been trying to stop this for over two years, and thought we solved it last year, but now another charge is on my credit card. The Intuit reps have no clue how to reach their own accounting department, and I have no way to cancel the subscription because it's not for my company. I have submitted a complaint to the BBB and am in process of doing a charge back with my credit card company, but Inuit needs to solve this problem.
Sorry I can not answer the question
But I would put a stop in with the CC company so that it can not be used again, and get a new card with a new number, etc. Then file a fraud complaint against the company using the card and intuit.
I am in process of taking care of it through the credit card company. I do not want to press fraud charges though because part of how this problem originated was my fault. The other company was a prior provider to a client of mine, and at some point after their services were terminated I renewed the QuickBooks payroll subscription for my client. I did not know that the subscription I was renewing was owned by the other service provider, and that is how my credit card ended up being linked to the subscription. I was able to renew and pay for the subscription, but I do not have the ability to cancel the subscription. That is messed up. No one is even using the payroll subscription. The client decided to go with some HCM software and no longer had need of QuickBooks payroll, yet Intuit keeps trying to renew this subscription every year.
*UPDATE* After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Intuit's Office of the President has finally reached out to me. Maybe we will finally get this resolved.
