Since the update in the fall you cannot choose the customized templates on the Android app. It used to be under settings / sales forms. It's available on desktop.

The customization of the invoices on the new update is terrible. I cannot customize it like I wanted so I use the old template it used to be able to be chosen as a default on the Android system but now the option doesn't exist. I've spoken with quickbooks on the phone and there's no solution it's just been deleted from the app. I spend 99% of my time in a vehicle on the Android app I need it the way it used to be maybe if enough people talk about it it'll get fixed.

before the update my customized invoices or estimates appeared in the Android app under these settings so I could choose a default. There's no such choice now so any invoice I send from the app or is generated as a new invoice from the app has a terrible boring look even when customized because there are so many limitations on the new invoice settings that I cannot create an invoice like I used to.

I tried to make it easier but they made it worse and now are limiting the way my invoice can look. I spoke with them on the phone at QuickBooks last night who said yes this isn't good I am surprised they did this as well. I know nobody's going to fix this it's going to take months of complaining and people going through the developers and this and that I'm just putting it out here cuz I'm irritated.

Here's an example of the new invoice as customized as I can make it. I don't want the numbers.

this is my old perfect template which I can still use yes but only on the computer not available on the app under the settings where it used to be for the last 5 Years.

I can certainly understand how an ability to further customize invoice templates and remove company numbers could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

Use the Gear icon, then go to Feedback.
Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
If necessary, attach a file with your Camera icon.
Select Next.
