The 'Last xxxxx-to-date' option of the report period doesn't work correctly, it always set the 'to' date as the next month of the 'from' date

for example, as making a report, we set the report period as 'Last Month-to-date', the from date is set as 2020/01/01, it's correct. But the 'to' date will be set as '2020/01/15' if today is 2020/02/15. This bug is also happen for 'Last Quarter-to-date'.

Getting the Last Month-to-date and Last Quarter-to-date options set to the correct "To" boxes helps you view your reports within the appropriate report period. However, there isn't a way to automatically set this up. I'd suggest manually changing the dates in the "To" boxes from 01-15-2020 to 02-15-2020 as seen in the screenshot below.

Thanks for the reply. Now I know it's by designed. However, It will be more helpful if there is an option like 'Last xxxx-to-current-date'.

The 'Last xxxxx-to-date' option of the report period doesn't work correctly, it always set the 'to' date as the next month of the 'from' date

@jones.chg

What you're describing is normal and as designed.

Using your example "Last month to date" means "The beginning of last month through today's day of the month - last month".

So, when today is the 15th of the month, then running a report for "This month to date" will result in a report with a 15 day period, and "Last month to date" will also be a 15 day period, only a month previous.
