View/edit general journal Quickbooks on iPad

Warm greetings, @OlPawPaw!

Currently, the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app on iPad doesn't support viewing, editing, and entering journal entries.

In the meantime, you can access your account through your device's web browser to view or edit a journal entry. Here's how:

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Log in to your QBO account.
  3. Go to the Gear icon and choose Chart of accounts.
  4. Look for the account where you created the journal entry. Then, select View register.
  5. Find the journal entry in the account register. You'll find the word "Journal" in the Ref No. or Type column.
  6. Click the journal entry to expand the view. Then, select Edit.
  7. Make any necessary changes. We recommend consulting your accountant's advice during this process.
  8. Once you're done, hit Save.

You can also refer to this article for a list of app features supported on mobile devices: Compare mobile app features.

Furthermore, here's an article that can help you determine the computer and browser requirements for the best QB experience: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns besides viewing or editing journal entries on your iPad. The Community is always available to help you out. Have a great day!
