You can find the toolbar in the left navigation at the very top of your company name. It is also called a hamburger icon and it remains as is while you're navigating your QuickBooks account.
However, while creating your sales or purchase transaction, the create transaction window will cover the entire space. You'd only see the toolbar again once you finished creating your transactions. In case you haven't seen the toolbar, we can try a few troubleshooting steps to better isolate this issue. Let's begin by using a private browser to know if it's the browser that's causing this unexpected behavior.
