Yes, I know how to upload them on a desktop with the web log in. It is not at all convenient and is more time consuming then simply snapping a copy of the receipt in the app. If I am paying for the service, I should be able to use the features. It is the only reason I got the app.
Mine has been doing the same thing since Friday the 1st. I hope this gets resolved soon. I don't have time to scan and upload. It's too time consuming.

Mine is doing the same thing! It just keeps spinning/uploading the photo. I have uninstalled the app and cleared all cache with the same results. I like to have an attached receipt while matching all transactions. I now have a stack of receipts for four accounts that I cannot upload. We have another employee who has access to our QBO remotely, and his phone is working(Apple). I'm unsure if this is just an Android error, but hope this issue is resolved soon!

I can upload through Quickbooks Online but it's much more of a hassle compared to the "Snap Receipt" function in the app. I have cleared my storage data and cache in my app settings and then tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app all together. It still has the same issue.

This seems to be an Android issue. I have done everything you have, with no results. Mine started acting up last Friday, 12/1/23...I let it go since it was Friday, thinking it would resolve itself over the weekend or that it was an internet connection issue. Starting a new month to reconcile with a stack of receipts has burdened my workload. I like our books to be organized and love the snap receipt feature on my phone. It's simple and effective. I also use it to create all our bills. I hope they can resolve this issue pronto!
I can share some information about the error you're having when trying to upload your receipts, Ashley.
There's an ongoing issue when using the receipt snap feature on an android. Our Product Engineering team is already aware of this and is now working on a fix.
In the meantime, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. By doing so, you can be added to the list of affected users and receive an email notification once we resolve the issue.

In the meantime, you may consider emailing your expense receipts and bills to get them into QuickBooks Online. It'll extract the information from it and and create a transaction for you to review. Check this article for more information: Email receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.
From here, you can go to the Receipts tab to review and categorize them into the correct accounts.
