Join nowWe have 3 bank accounts, but I only want the ADMIN employee to be able to see ONE of the accounts. How can I do that?
You can't. The Admin user has all rights.
Welcome to the Community, @jso331.
Allow me to help share some additional insights about user access in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
@Anonymous is correct. Currently, there's no option to assign specific access to the Administrator in your account.
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about this, and I'd suggest you send your suggestions directly to our Product Development team. By doing so, it helps our engineers go to find the most requested feedback and gather information for future updates.
You can enter this as a feature request here: http://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.
I've also attached an article about different user types in QBO for additional reference: Understanding user types and permissions.
That should get you back on track.
Thank you for dropping by. Please know that I'm just a few clicks away if you have any other questions about managing users in your QBO account. I'll be happy to help you out.
Why would Intuit ever change the access of the Admin user? The point of the Admin user it to have full Admin access.
