We've received similar reports wherein the shortcut & tasks aren't working using the desktop app for QuickBooks Online. To be added to the list of impacted users, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks support.

I was having trouble with a keyboard shortcut not working. I use Quickbooks desktop Premier 2021 the PC version on a Mac with High Sierra in Vmware fusion running Windows 10.
I use Control + Delete to delete lines in both Journal entries and checks for instance. And it had quit working. Today I tried 2 other keyboards and it works now. I use an apple keyboard, so I tried a different one and also a Dell keyboard and both worked so now I am using a different keyboard. I had been Googling both Quickbooks & Vmware Fusion for solutions. I am so glad this fixed it to use a different keyboard, maybe it will help you too?
My QuickBooks shortcut (to log in) is taking ages, and ages, to load. +All my other shortcuts to other websites are working well.)
The same is happening when I Google "QuickBooks on-line log in." A long wait (5 minutes) ensues.

To isolate the issue further, I recommend basic browser troubleshooting steps you can perform. Before that, try to verify the internet connection if it is stable. Try to log out and log in to your account in the browser.
If the issue is still the same, let's open your account using the incognito window to check if there's a possibility of a webpage issue.
Try the following:
If it's a success, return to your regular browser. Then, clear your cache to start afresh. If the issue remains, consider switching to other supported browsers installed on your system.
Additionally, if everything is settled and cleared, you can run a report in QuickBooks Online to get an overview of your business finances.
