Signing up a new client - Pro-Advisor discount

I went to sign up a client tonight and told them if I invited them, it would be less expensive (usually that is the case).  However, she is able to sign up for essentials ON HER OWN right now at $27.50 per month and I can only offer $38.50 a month… that is not okay.  That makes us CPA professionals look really bad!

The discounted rate (i.e $27.5) is only applicable for 3 months. You should remind her about that.

Yes that is true and I did tell the client about that.... it ends up being about $100 savings overall for 12 months to use our invite.   Even if they don't notice, I still feel like I should explain it to them.  I just don't believe that whatever Intuit/QBO wants to offer, it should have any month out of the first 12, being lower than what a pro-advisor can offer.

Allow me to share some insights about this Pro-Advisor discount you're needing help with, @marcycpa.

Fiat Lux - ASIA is right that the discounts in the Intuit website only applies for 3 months and the client will be charged the full about after that. Also, Intuit discounts can only be applied once.

I am also having an issue with pricing. Your website says the normal price for Plus is $80 but in my account it has the regular price as $86. Why is this?
