I see that it is more convenient for you to have the QuickBooks Online Desktop application version than the QuickBooks Online (QBO) view, Mary. I am also thrilled to know that you experienced first the different options our software has to offer before finalizing the best fit for your business.
To make sure that you can switch back to the QuickBooks Online Desktop version, your account's subscription must be Advanced or Accountant. On top of that, you have downloaded the application from the online version in the Account and Settings, then select the Get the desktop app.
If all requirements above are met, by toggling the Desktop View button on the upper left corner while you are in the online mode, you can return to the version you want.
