Hello, Brita. You can create a deposit using the same account as the uncleared check, then clear out when reconciling to remove them from future statements.
Please ensure the deposit exactly matches the check’s payee, expense account, and amount to offset. Once saved, select the bank account with a statement date after the check date, and both transactions will appear. Mark both the uncleared check and the offsetting deposit as cleared by toggling their checkmarks. This nets them to zero on the reconciliation screen and cleans your statements.
