Hi,
I'm trying to find a user role that will have access to create projects and input bills without access to the bank feed or the bank tile that shows the bank balance.
I've tried roles that say the user will not have access to the bank register, but when I put in a sample user with the role the bank feed is still there. Any suggestions?
I know what's the appropriate user role you can add, Nal7City. I'll discuss the details and help you finish the process below.
To enable a user to create projects and input bills without accessing the bank feed or the bank tile, choose the Standard limited customers and vendors role. You can do this by following these steps:
After that, go ahead and inform the new user to accept the invite or let the existing one refresh their QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to implement the update.
Moreover, depending on your subscription, you have a specific usage limit. This applies to how many billable users, chart of accounts, classes, locations, and tags you can add to QuickBooks. You can check out this article for more details: Usage limits in QuickBooks Online.

Hi, You can try customizing a user role by giving access only to "Projects" and "Bills" while restricting access to banking features. Go to the User Roles section and manually adjust the permissions to block access to "Banking" or "Bank Feeds." If that doesn't work, you may need to create a custom role with very specific permissions to ensure they can’t see the bank feed or balance.
