We paid our subscription early this month, is showing status Active. but our payroll show Subscription Inactive, how to Reactivate?

We need to revalidate your service key by entering them in your software, irn1688.

 

This refreshes your payroll subscription and makes your payroll service active in QuickBooks.
 
Here's how:

  1. Click Employees on the top menu.
  2. Select My Payroll Service.
  3. Tick Manage Service Key.
  4. In the QuickBooks Service Keys window, tap Edit and enter your service key.
  5. Click Next 
  6. Hit Finish.
  7. Click OK.

Then, update your payroll tax table to ensure payroll taxes will calculate on your paychecks.

These steps did not work for me. It still says to reactivate and i cannot run my payroll. when I log in my account it says that my subscription is active. I need to have this fixed asap.

If my colleague's steps didn't work for you, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Support Team so that they can ensure the correct Service Key has been entered and is syncing with the payroll service. Here's how to get in touch:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Hit Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then Continue.
  5. We’ll provide you a few support options. Choose which one is best for you.
