Buy nowThat's not the kind of impression I want to leave, doug107. I appreciate all your efforts in coming up with a workaround to match the sales receipts.
The sales receipts will only show up in the Match transactions section if you deposit them to the Undeposited Funds account. In this case, we can review your sales transactions and ensure a bank account isn't selected. You can refer to the sample screenshots below:
For the processing fee, we can deposit the sales receipt to the desired bank account, then add the fee under the Add funds to this deposit section in a negative amount. The amount will match to the downloaded deposit. Here's how:
Once done, proceed with matching the deposits. Feel free to visit these articles which contain information about matching and customizing transactions in QuickBooks:

Again, you've added unnecessary steps to what should be an automatic process.
Currently, there is no need to create a deposit manually to match later to the downloaded banking transactions. When a donor makes an online contribution using donorbox, I receive a notification of the donor and amount. I then create the sales receipt and save it to undeposited funds. They process the payment through Stripe, and the bank deposit/transfer is automatic. I never know how many contributions are being processed in a single deposit until when a contribution(s) is processed by Stripe. Stripe sends an email notifying me of the deposit amount, but rather than duplicate a matching process at that point, I wait until the deposit processes and downloads in the banking transactions. Once downloaded I match the contributions to the automatic deposit/transfer and deduct the fees charged by both donorbox and Stripe. This simplifies the process of dealing with variable processing fees charged by Stripe.
The problem occurs when the processing fees exceed the matching range used by QuickBooks to present the possible matches for consideration and is easily replicated when your deposit doesn't match your sales receipts within their tolerances.
My apologies if my comments seem harsh, but time is money and wasting it isn't a good thing.
I can see that having the user filter setting to match deposits can be beneficial to you and your business, doug107.
While there isn't a way for you to do the task, I recommend sending your ideas to our product engineers. Customer feature requests and product suggestions are collected and reviewed so they may add them to feature product updates. Here's how:

Has this issue ever been fixed? I'm having the same issue which literally just started today. Previously, I was able to match the imported bank amount to all sales receipt and adjust as needed at the bottom for the credit card fees. Now it won't bring in any suggested matches. This is such a waste of time.
We recognize the importance of ensuring your bank transactions and sales receipts sync up smoothly in QuickBooks Online, Sj66. That said, there are a few reasons why suggested matches don't appear.
Here are some of them:
I recommend double-checking the details on your sales receipt to make sure they align with your bank transactions. Once everything matches, the sales receipt will appear on the Find other matches page.

I've been using QB for probably 40 years. All I can say to this answer is "DUH". I know all of this. I think you missed the point. The point is that if you do have fees on your transaction, the sales receipt is not even available to match up to the deposit knowing that you have fees. Typically, I enter the amount of the actual donation through the Sales Receipt in order to properly report donations at the gross amount. When the deposit hits the bank account and is automatically imported, it may have credit card fees withheld from it. In that case, I utilize the "If needed, resolve the difference" section down at the bottom to enter the credit card fees as a negative amount. Then the amounts match and all is good. HOWEVER, I have some sales receipts that do not show up in the "find and select record(s) to match" section. I believe this is because it is outside some parameter that QBO has arbitrarily assigned of 5%.
For example, I have a donor that decided to give $10.61 per month for a year. The extra $0.61 was donated to cover the credit card fee of $0.61. I have entered the $10.61 on a sales receipt for each month donated. When I go to the matching section of banking, the deposit comes through for $10.00. I should be able to select the $10.61 sales receipt and resolve the difference of $0.61, match and move on quickly. However, the sales receipt is not reflected at all so I have no way of selecting it.
I do other donations this same way. For example, another donor gave $103.30 with the extra $3.30 to cover the credit card fees. Because this fee is below the magic 5% parameter, the $103.30 sales receipt shows up in the matching section, I select it, resolve the $3.30 to match to the $100 deposit, and I'm done.
I've seen suggested workarounds provided, but they are cumbersome. Why can't QBO give us the ability to toggle between suggested matches and show all? Is there somewhere I can go to change a setting?

We thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) as your partner in helping you manage your finances for 40 years, @sj66. I understand how it is challenging to locate a match with your sales receipt that has a credit card fee of more than the 5% arbitrary parameter. Your idea for this is great.
Currently, the settings to toggle suggested matches and show all aren't available. I recommend submitting direct feedback to our Product Development Team. Your suggestion will be evaluated and tested.
If they see that this can improve users' experience in matching transactions that have a credit card fee for more than the 5% arbitrary parameter, they can add this to our future product updates. Here's how:
In the meantime, you can utilize the Filter icon when matching transactions and follow the suggested workaround of my colleagues provided above to locate those entries and pair them up.
