Where are a adjusting journal entry checkbox in make general entry and a adjusted trial balance in report of your QuickBooks Premier 2020? Did you remove those features?

The Adjusting Entry box in the Make General Journal Entries window is only available in the following editions:

• QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
• QuickBooks Desktop Accountant

It is possible that you've previously used the QuickBooks Premier Accountant edition. Hence, you have that option when creating the journal entries.

You can upgrade to the following editions if necessary. You can use these links for more information:

• Download QuickBooks Desktop

• Install QuickBooks Desktop

Otherwise, you might  need to reach out to your accountant. They can do the adjusting entries on your be half. They also have an option to toggle from one edition to the other.

Here's how your accountant do this:

1. Click File at the top menu and select Toggle to Another Edition..
2. Select the Premier Edition and click Next.
3. Click Toggle and wait for the program to switch to the other edition.
