Why am I not able to reply to my community post thread?

Each time I attempt to respond, I receive a message that says Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication. This is so frustrating. Quickbooks should fix this. I am already logged into the site.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to resolve your issue by clearing your cookies, @seamusiclover.

Doing this can indeed help you resolve unexpected behaviors like authentication errors.

Here are a few additional steps you might consider to prevent this issue from recurring:

  1. Ensure Full Login: Double-check that you're fully logged into the site, as sometimes partial logins can lead to authentication issues.
  2. Update Browser: Keep your web browser updated to the latest version, as outdated browsers can cause compatibility issues.
  3. Use a Different Browser: If the problem persists, trying a different web browser can help identify if the issue is browser-specific.

Additionally, you may want to explore our Firm of the Future page to stay informed about the latest news and product updates on QuickBooks products.

Feel free to post here in the Community if you have further QuickBooks-related concerns. The QuickBooks Team is here to assist you. Keep safe.

Why am I not able to reply to my community post thread?

@seamusiclover  If it is of any use in future, I have found one workaround that seems to be permanent.

Like you, when I first log into this community, it almost universally stops me from making more than one post or comment of any kind with authentication errors.

However, if I fully close my browser and open it back up, it 'logs me out' but still has me 'logged in' to the community. So, even though the Sign In button is there, as long as I don't click on the three-person icon and sign out there, it seems to let me continue interacting with the community indefinitely.

Not surprising that Intuit cannot manage its own cache even on a forum, though. This has to be the most incompetent tech-adjacent company I have ever engaged with.

I've seen teenage webcomic artists create a more stable website, let alone the industry leader that Intuit is supposed to be.

@RogelioL  "Moreover, you might want to check out Firm of the Future to keep updated about our latest new and product updates."

Yes, because nothing makes a person want to see more of your work quite like a website that functions worse than the forums people built in the 80s.
