Why are my invoices broken up in the transaction report on Profit and Loss?

Allow me to share some information about running Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Once you've created multiple line invoices it will show up as a total amount on the invoice page. However, if you run a report or you'll drill down the report it shows the individual line or amount per line. When you'll click the transaction on the report it shows the invoice with multiple line.

It serves as a working design in QBO. If you want to show the total amount on the report, you may send your product suggestions straight to our product engineers for future enhancements. To send feedback:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Share your feedback or suggestions on the Feedback page.
4. Click Next and send your message.
