Why does intuit say my bank pasword has expired when it has not?

Hello there, jaynewton1.

It would be my pleasure to help you figure out why the system recognizes your bank credentials as expired.

We can try logging into your bank account to determine if you need to change your bank credentials. If your password is expired, it'll prompt you to change the information on your bank's website.

If you're still able to access your account using your existing credentials, we can log into your QBO account and update the bank information.

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select your bank account.
  4. Click the pencil icon.
  5. Select Edit sign-in info.
  6. Enter bank information.
  7. Click Save and connect.

I'm adding this article for additional reference for updating credentials: How to update your bank account sign-in information.

If the information in QBO and from your bank website is updated and you're still unable to connect, I recommend giving us a call this time. One of our Phone Support Specialists will help you further with syncing your bank into the system.

You can reach them by following these steps:

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
  2. Select QuickBooks Online.
  3. Choose a topic.
  4.  Scroll down and click Get Phone Number.

Please know you can always come to the Community for any of your QuickBooks needs. I'm just one click away.
