Why has the customer address been removed from the Customer reports?

As we check here, the customer address appears in the Shipping address column of the report you're trying to generate. But if the field doesn't show on your data, you may want to enable it by clicking the Gear icon beside the Export icon. Check the box beside Shipping Address to show your customer's address. On the printed report yes, however it does not appear when you export the report to Excel.

Upon checking here, the Shipping Address was there when I exported the report to Excel. You'll want to double-check the Excel file and confirm if it is there. 

The reason why the columns are not fully visible on your screen may be because they are too long, causing them to extend beyond the viewing area. You can adjust the zoom percentage or slide the window to the right. For your convenience, I have attached a screenshot as a reference.

Nope.  The exported report to Excel does not show the address.  Only Name, Company Name, City, State, Zip, Phone, e-mail, Customer Type, Attachments & Open Balance.  No billing or service address.  Attaching screen shot.

My colleagues in this thread are correct about making sure to add the Shipping Address column by customizing the report before exporting. You can refer to KurtKyle_M, for steps to add the column.

After that, this section in the report should be available in your Excel file. However, since you’re unable to locate it after verifying everything. I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team to see your account in a secure setting and determine why the column isn’t included upon the exportation:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click the Help button.
3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chat box, select Talk to a human and or tap the Contact Us button at the bottom.
4. Then, type in your reason for contacting us in the What can we help you with? Box and click Continue.
5. From there, choose a way to connect with us; either to Chat with us, get a Callback, or call our support line directly by getting our Phone number.

I appreciate you for joining this conversation, dostermann. I see that you're currently encountering an issue with exporting reports from QuickBooks Online (QBO), specifically regarding the omission of customer addresses.

I've tried exporting it on my end, and it seems everything is working fine (address is showing). To isolate this, I recommend trying the following steps:

Open an Incognito Window: Open a new incognito or private browsing window in your web browser. This ensures that no cached data or extensions interfere with the export process. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: Command + Shift + N

Then, open the report and export it from there. If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Doing so will remove the historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser.

No, this was never resolved.  The report does show tie city, state, country and zip but NOT the street address.  I have tried using an incognito window and the report exports the same way to Excel.
