Hello @453245,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to help you get back on track so you can your QuickBooks Online account.

Only the user with admin access can view the subscription info of an account. Users that have standard user role permission can't view details of the existing subscription.

The error you got indicates that you have regular access to the account. You'll also have no access with the Manage users option from the Gear icon (see screenshot below).

If you know someone who has access to the account, check with them. It may be possible that the user can access and view the subscription information.

If you used to have access to the entire account and want to change the primary admin, I recommend checking out this article. It contains detailed instructions and information about the process: Change the primary admin user in QuickBooks Online.

Also, I've attached a link you can visit to view the steps on how to activate an inactive QuickBooks Online account: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.

Drop me a comment if you have more questions about managing your account in QuickBooks. I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care.

Hello, I've been the only user and the only admin since forever, can I get someone to check on my account and see what's going on?

Hi.  I get this message at login before the home page window appears. Last time I accessed these books, all went well. I realize I do not have this access, and do not want it and have never tried to access it.

I logged into several other QBO accounts and have no issues.

I appreciate your assistance.

Thank you,

Bree0319

It seems like this is something to do with the user's permission, @Brenda. Let's fix this right away. So you can successfully access your company in QuickBooks Online.

Do you have a company administrator? If so, we suggest you contacting to your administrator to check and give you access to that account.

If everything is working well, I'm sharing other resolutions to aid this error you encountered. We can clear your browser's cache or an incognito browser to make this work and lessen issues that arise when using QuickBooks.

Follow the steps below:

1. Restart your browser.

2. Log in to your account and try in an incognito or private browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: press Shift + CTRL + P

3. If it works on the private browser, go to the regular browser and clear your cache.

4. Then, sign in back your account using your regular browser.

You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Update us after trying the suggested solutions above, @Brenda. Always know that your goal is our priority. You can still have us if you need help managing your users and permission. Have a great day.
