1yr since "BANK DEPOSIT" tab on the app functioned. customer service is no help with the issue. App doesn’t show a "+” tap 2 make entry n "BANK DEPOSIT" tab 03072023…

It’s been over a year since I’ve been able to use the "BANK DEPOSIT" tab on the app. I called customer service and explained the issue. The app doesn’t show a "+” tap.

When I go to use the BANK DEPOSIT tab there isn’t the green "+", tab to make an entry. Before the latest update there was a green tab with the "+", but today; not even the green tab is available. Please have you programmers fix the issue.

Thanks for coming to the Community, @AlbertosTrucking01 LLC. Allow me to help you create a bank deposit using your mobile device.

 

QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app allows us instant access to your data from your mobile device. However, there are some limitations when using it. Not to worry, you can still add bank deposits using a web browser on your device. It works the same as how you access your account on your computer. 

 

Follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click + New and then Bank Deposit.
  3. From the Account dropdown, choose the account you want to put the money into.
  4. Tick the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
  5. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. Use your deposit slip as a reference.
  6. Select Save and close or Save and new.

 

Being able to create bank deposits in the mobile app would be awesome. I encourage you to add your vote for this one by sending a feature request in the Feedback section within QuickBooks. Our product development team reviews all the feedback we receive to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.

  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
  3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
  4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

 

I also recommend contacting our Customer Care Support team again. This way, they can raise a ticket to our engineering team regarding the Bank Deposit option in the app.
