Welcome, @Patsy1952 and thank you for coming to the QuickBooks Community for assistance.
I have some insight on how to remove transactions on the reconciliation page.
There are things that need to check before removing the transactions that aren't showing in the bank statement.
- Check the transaction date and double-check your bank statement for that time period.
- Take note of the date and amount of the transaction.
- Run a Past Reconciliation report for those dates.
Here's how to get you on the reconciliation page to enter R.
- Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
- Choose the account you're reconciling and click View register.
- Find the transaction and select it to expand the view.
- If the box in the checkmark column is blank or has a C, make sure the transaction is accurate.
- Select the box in the checkmark column until you see an R. If there's already an R in the checkmark column, leave it alone.
- When you're done, select Save.
If the steps above are not working, you can refresh the page or press F5.

Let me know if you have other concerns about reconciling. I'm always here to help. Have a good one.
