All records gone after adding new bank account. where did they go?

Thanks for asking about this,

May I know the name of your financial institution? This information will help me verify if there is an ongoing investigation regarding the missing records after adding your new bank account.

In the meantime, let's refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Self-Employed by clicking on the Refresh All button.

I'll show you how below:

  1. Go to Home page.
  2. From the Accounts section, click View.

  3. Click Refresh all.

For your reference on how to connect bank account in QBSE, check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed

Get back to me if there's anything I can help you with. I'd be happy to assist you further. Enjoy the rest of the day.

All records gone after adding new bank account. where did they go?

I cant refresh the old account because its closed so it can no longer connect. Still, I dont understand why all my transactions from the old bank would just disappear. Old account was usbank. New bank is wells fargo. I didnt even delete the usbank account from the self employed app. I had USbank and all my transaction still showing for a while after i closed the account. It was when i added the wells fargo account that everything from USbank disappeared. It doesnt make sense that everything would disappear just because i added another account to the app. I have nothing showing on my reports from the time period i had the usbank account open.

All records gone after adding new bank account. where did they go?

Let's check some filters on the Transactions page, @missy722.

This way, all the accounts will show in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app. I'll show you how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. At the left panel, choose the Transactions menu.
  3. In the Account drop-down menu, select All.

You may want to get transactions from before you connected your accounts. Feel free to check this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Don't hesitate to get back in here if you need clarifications. I'm more than happy to assist you. Have a pleasant day.
