Bank account numbers not showing on banking section

Hi everyone, my bank acount numbers are not showing on the banking transaction, nor the bank account names. It's no pulling that information. normally there will be the last 4 digits of the account.

Am I using an old or dated version of this, or does it only show on some browsers?

I'm using firefox

Thanks

Bank account numbers not showing on banking section

I'll make sure that you'll be able to see your account information on the banking page, @earthandelle.

Beforehand, would you mind telling me if you've changed a setting in your QBO? Instead, you may want to check if the account number feature in the settings is enabled. Thus, it could be the reason why your bank number doesn’t show on the banking page.

I’ll be happy to show you how:

  1. From the Settings go to Account and settings.
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the Pencil in the Chart of accounts section.
  4. Turn on Enable account numbers.
  5. Select Save and then Done.

From there, you can now start updating your account info with just a few clicks. I’ll show you how:

  1. From the banking page, select the tile for the bank account.
  2. Then select the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Update your info as needed then Save and Close

Once you’re all set, you’ll now be able to see the updated bank info on your banking page.

You can also see this article for more details about using account numbers in your chart of accounts: Use account numbers in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, I’ve added this resource that may come in handy in organizing your transactions in QBO:  Categorize and match online bank transactions.
