Good Morning,
On QB Desktop Pro 2019. Use for quarterly updates of my personal transactions - not running a business.
Every quarter go to banks and CC issuers to download activity and then upload to QB using bank feeds.
Most times this works, but for one of my banks, Citibank, when I upload the QBO file QB does not recognize the account. Usually I have to disable bank feeds and then re-establish, Everything works properly.
Not now. Go to edit account, set up bank feeds. Get prompts and follow instructions but since Citi does manual imports, not the direct link from their website, only get to step 1 of setup. When that completes, I still don't have the bank icon on my account.
Struggling with what to do next. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I'll share some information on how you can fix this.

Let's make sure that QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release. Then, follow Step 3 in this article to resolve this issue: Fix Web Connect import errors.
Once done, import the transactions from your bank in QuickBooks.
Please keep me posted on how things go after trying this out. I want to make sure this issue is sorted out. Stay safe!
Thanks. All of this is helpful but does not address my issue. I know the feeds are fine since I've had this issue before and disabling and reenabling bank feeds for the accounts in question has always solved the issue.
My issue is that I am cannot enable bank feeds for two of my bank accounts. Attached is a shot of my COA after bank feeds disabled
Second shot is instructions I receive one I edit the account and select enable bank feeds. I find my bank.
Third shot is after I've selected my bank. Instructions say to manually import transactions. My only choice is read instructions and then close the window.
This returns me to the original Find my Bank Window. I'm still on step one of four yet I have no other choice than to close the window.
I close the window and recheck the status of my COA. Bank feeds are not enabled for the account.
Without bank feeds enabled, I'm unable to select the account when uploading the QBO file.
Still looking for a solution
Many thanks. Helpful info but does not address my issue. I've previously had the issue with the QBO upload file not aligning with the bank account in my COA. Solution has always been to disable bank feeds for the account and then re-enable them. Files always upload successfully after that fix.
But now I am cannot re-enable bank feeds for the two accounts. Here's the process I've been following along with screen shots.
Open my COA. SS shows the two accounts no bank feeds enabled icon
Edit one of the accounts a select the enable bank feeds button. That opens the find my bank screen
Select my bank (Citibank) and receive the manual download instructions. Close that window.
Returns me back to find my bank and I'm still on step 1 of 4. No other choice than to close that window.
COA shows bank feeds still not enabled.
Any suggestions as to how to address will be greatly appreciated.
Hello there, Magilldg3.
Thanks for adding more details about the issues, especially the screenshots. This gives us a better picture of what happened to the connection. I’m here to help make sure you can import transactions and link your accounts to QBDT.
We’ll have to use the sample company file and connect the account from there. This is to check if the error is caused by a problem with your bank or something in QuickBooks. Make sure to save a copy of the company file to avoid accidental loss.
When you’re ready, follow the steps below to create a test file. Here’s how:
Next, set up the bank feeds. If you get the same error, log in to Citibank’s website to check for any security notifications. If there’s none, contact the bank directly to help with the activation.
However, if you didn’t encounter any errors, the issue isn’t with your account. To fix this, perform Steps 2-5 in this article: Get help with error OL 301 or 393.
