Keep getting error code: 19906 48466, whenever I try to use bank feeds. I am unable to establish ANY links to financial intuitions. I have run the QuickBooks Hub, made sure all files / programs are up to date. My OS is Windows 10, and also all latest up dates are installed. Please advise how to proceed.

Thank you,

Al B.

I greatly value your effort and patience in dealing with this issue, @abjornnes. I have more suggestions for how we can get rid of the error code you're receiving.

Unrecoverable errors are frequently the result of computer, system, software, or data issues. To clarify, what bank institution are you trying to link to QuickBooks Desktop? Any additional information will help us determine the best action we can take.

In the meantime, let's end the QuickBooks application that is running in the background. Then, follow the steps below:

1. Hold down the Ctrl + Alt and Delete keys at the same time.
2. Select Start Task Manager.
3. Look for .qb.exe, .qb, and QuickBooks. Then, right-click on it and click End Task.

Now, let's suppress the Desktop while starting QuickBooks:

1. Press and hold the Ctrl key.
2. Double-click on your QuickBooks program icon.
3. Hold the Ctrl key until you see the No Company Open window.

Next, open a sample company file, run reboot.bat, and troubleshoot the QuickBooks Desktop application. For the detailed instructions, please see this article: Troubleshoot Unrecoverable Error XXXXX XXXXX.

If you receive the unrecoverable error while performing a specific task in QuickBooks, please refer to this link: Fix unrecoverable error in QuickBooks Desktop.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Support Team. They can pull up your account in a secure manner and investigate this issue further. Just take note of the support hours so we can address your concerns on time.

Once everything is settled, you can set up a bank account and connect it to Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop. After that, refer to this guide to review and categorize the transactions accordingly: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you need further assistance in managing your bank transactions in the program, please leave a response below. I'm just a post away from helping.

I tried all of the above. Uninstalled and reinstalled QB. Now I am getting a different error code:  19946 46722. Errors occur while I am trying to create a bank link. I click on Bank Feed, window comes up and says "You have not set up any accounts for online services, would you like to set them up now?" I click yes and another window comes up and says "This will temporally close open windows do you want to proceed?" I click yes, and another window pops up with the error. I click send the report to QB and the QB program terminates. I have made sure all files and programs are current and up to date. My OS is windows 10 also current with all updates. Any further suggestions?

I have QB Desktop Premier 2018

I appreciate your dedication to digging into this issue, @abjornnes. Please know that QuickBooks Desktop 2018 has been discontinued, and I'll share more information about this.

The availability of add-on services for QuickBooks Desktop for Windows 2018 has ended on May 31, 2021. This covers all variations of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Enterprise Solutions v18.

In line with this, you will no longer have access to the software's Payroll Services, Payment Processing, Live Support, Online Backup, Online Banking, Technical Support, and other services. That's why you're unable to link your bank account and submit a report about this.

Don't worry, you can continue to use QuickBooks Desktop 2018 if you choose not to use any of the add-on services. You won't be able to sign up for any of the Intuit services that can be connected with QuickBooks Desktop, including live technical assistance. More information about the service discontinuation can be found in this article: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.

You'll want to consider upgrading your software to use the online banking feature. You might be interested in visiting these resources to take a look at the features and functions of QuickBooks Desktop's latest version:

I also recommend checking out our Help articles page, which you can use for future reference. From there, you can read some great articles and learn some best practices for managing your QuickBooks Desktop.

Drop a comment below if you have additional questions or concerns about QuickBooks Desktop products. I’m more than happy to answer them for you. Stay safe.

@abjornnes

The bank feed feature doesn't work on outdated versions of QB Desktop. You can use a third-party tool to import bank statement in csv or xls file format as a workaround.
