Buy nowOur company parted way with out bookkeeper in December 2023 and because the QuickBooks subscription was tied to her account, our subscription stopped when we removed her from the account. We restarted our subscription in March 2024.
Now, on our Bank Transactions page, no transactions from after 12/5/23 show up. This problem persists even after I press the update button. I'm aware some transactions are more than 90 days old and thus I might have to learn how to manually add them, but none of the most recent transactions are showing up either.
For most the the accounts, their bank registers have also not updated since 12/5/23. However, one account has some, but not all, of the transactions since then shown on the bank register despite not showing up on the bank Transactions page, where I would like to review all of our transactions.
What can I do to get our banks to reconnect after we had a period with a dormant subscription?
Hey there, @Chris Calhoun Agency.
I appreciate you coming to the Community with your question about banking within your QuickBooks Online account.
Since the transactions aren't showing up after pressing Update on the account, I recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the account. Here's how:
Disconnect:
Afterwards, you'll reconnect your bank account. This can sometimes cause duplicates, so I recommend reviewing your transactions and then excluding any duplicates. If your missing any transactions after that, I suggest manually uploading them.
This should do the trick. Reach back out if you have any other questions. Take care!
You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
