Bank Transfer fees in QuickBooks

What is the current fee for bank transfers? It used to be 1% of the transaction with a maximum of $15.00 that would appear on my end as an Intuit fee for US users but now I'm seeing $20.00 charges instead. Is this new?

Has it changed to $20.00??

Bank Transfer fees in QuickBooks

I appreciate you reaching out with your concerns about the charges you see for bank transfers, @User201. The changes from $15.00 to $20.00 can be unexpected and I'm here to clarify the details for you.

QuickBooks Payments has recently revisited its fee structures and made adjustments to the ACH caps associated with different pricing plans. The standard fee for most existing customer plans has indeed increased to $20 per transaction. This change is likely the reason you are noticing $20 charges rather than the previous $15.

However, it's important to note that there are different fees associated with different types of plans:

  • Accountant or QSP preferred pricing is $15 per transaction.
  • Competitive switcher pricing is also at $15 per transaction.
  • Customers with high-volume transaction plans benefit from a discounted rate of $12 per transaction.

Since pricing can vary based on the specific plan and volume of transactions, you might be eligible for discounts or preferential rates. Check out this article for more info: Request a rate review of QuickBooks Payments discount fees
