I’ve done everything suggested. I believe the problem is that BB&T changed its website to direct users first to a special COVID-19 page. The login page requires another click. QuickBooks needs to change its login script to account for this. It’s not a one-time bank needs info problem, it’s a permanent change to how you login to the bank site.

I've checked my resources and haven't found any ongoing investigations with users being unable to connect their BB&T business accounts. If the steps provided by my colleague aren't working, I would suggest contacting our Support Team. This way, they can pull up your account and check the root cause of the error.

You ahve to pay 14.95 per month for this feature. So you have to enable it. I think it's ridiculous as I've not seen any other banks charge a gee.
