Can anyone help with loading CSV files into quickbooks for more than 3 months of time? I tried to follow their instructions but as a first time user I am lost.

I do not understand the current instructions online. I found the CSV file through my bank but in the charts section I do not see anywhere to upload. It says find the account (found my bank account) but I don't see anywhere to add it

Let's upload that file, @perryautomall. I've come to ensure you can import your bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You did an awesome job in preparing your CSV file. Your next step is to upload it inside QBO. Let me guide you how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account and go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Click Banking and then, select the Link account drop-down.
  3. Choose Upload from file. bank1.PNG
  4. From the Import bank transactions page, click the Drag and drop or select files option.
  5. Next, look for the CSV file and click Open and then, select Continuebank4.PNG
  6. In the Which account are these transactions from? box, click the QuickBooks Account drop-down and pick your bank account. Then, click Continuebank6.PNG
  7. You'll be routed to the Let's set up your file in QuickBooks window. From there, select the correct format of your file.
  8. When done, click Continue.
  9. Next, select the transactions you need to import and then Continue.
  10. Then, click Yes to confirm the import.

I've attached this helpful article to get more details about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. This also includes fixes for errors while importing the file.

After you've completed the upload, you'll need to look over your bank transactions and categorize them to ensure they're assigned to the correct account.

I'm always around if you need further assistance in uploading your bank transactions in QBO. Feel free to post a reply below. I got your back. Have a great day ahead.
