Yes, you can do both, mandy-waltzer. I'll go over some details to help you achieve the task in QuickBooks.
You can view your revenue, expenses, and net income by listed location by pulling up the Profit and Loss by Location report.
The Transaction Detail by Account report can also be generated. You have to ensure the Location box is selected. Doing so should have the location available on both reports. And then download them in either Excel or PDF.

Please let me know if you continue to have questions about the reports. I'll be here every step of the way. Take care!
In my scenario, I want to run all the year-to-date expenses by location and by expense account by month. The transaction detail by account is the way to go. However, it doesn't show the expense account when it's a split transaction. Is there any way I can fix that?
I can help you fix that, Mandy.
You just have to make sure that the Split box is selected when running the Transactions Detail by Account report.
Once done, this is what your report looks like.
If you want to see a detailed view of the transaction splits, you can also pull up the Transactions List by Splits report. The split detail will be shown under the Accounts column by default. Refer to the screenshot below.
You can customize your report if you want to add more specific detail on it. After that, I suggest saving the current settings by clicking Save Customization. That way, you won’t have to go through the customization process again in case you need the same information in the future.
Aside from customizing reports, you can also personalize your sales forms. Check out this article for details: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
