Can I re-import a few chart of accts? Been using QBO-found accts didn't transfer bcs of decimals in acct. number. They're in deposit records in QBO, but not in reports.

I figured out how to get the data into a  CVS for import, but I want to be sure I'm not going to mess anything up that I can't fix since these transactions DO appear in bank deposit detail, but there's no data for them in the Chart of Accounts.

Hi there, @suzanne20.

Let me share some information about importing accounts in QuickBooks Online.

I want to make sure you won't have any duplicate accounts once you re-import your CSV. Once you import, this will add accounts to your existing Chart of Accounts but won't remove any duplicates. You'll need to compare the accounts if it's already imported in the Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks. If so, you can edit the account number by clicking the view register.

One of the requirements for import is to make sure your account number should not be left blank and should not include decimal points. You'll need to check this to ensure the import operation will go through. Let me provide you with this helpful article for more information: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Reports-and-accounting/How-to-import-chart-of-accounts/m-p/1....

You mentioned that there are transactions in your bank deposit detail, but there's no data of them in your chart of accounts. Can I ask for further details about this?

Keep me updated on what the results are. I'm here to find another way to resolve this. Have a good one.
