Can I refuse the new ACH policy? I'm fine waiting 5-7 business days for deposits. I don't want to pay 1% for a service I don't need. Can next day deposits be optional?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, bgrebil.

I would suggest reaching out to our Merchant Support Team to have this better addressed. They have more tools, like screen sharing, that can help determine and answer specific payment concerns and better check whether this can be optional for you.

You can refer to this link on how to contact them: Contact Payments Support.

Also, to learn more about payment processing, you may check this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

I'm just a click away if you have any other questions concerning processing customer payments in QBO. I'll be right here to help.

@bgrebil

As another option, utilize Melio to accept ACH payment for free.

Thank you. I contacted them through the link you provided. Unfortunately, they say I don't have the option. I may look for other alternatives.

Thanks very much. I'll look into this, as it looks like if I use QB as I have been it's going to start costing me more.

I’m interested in same - I don’t want to pay 1% fee for next day - I’m quite happy with what I currently have at 3-5 days, no fee!

Hello, Sl94530.

Thanks for following up on this thread. I'd be glad to help point you in the right direction regarding payment options for your Merchant account.

The most efficient way to address your concern about opting out of next day processing would be to contact the Payments Support Team. Agents have specialized tools that allow them to look at your specific account details. In turn, they will be able to relay any other options available to you based on your current set up.

The following link will walk you through the steps to get in touch with the team: Contact Payments Support

Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.

Veem is another QBO option for ACH ,  delivers faster and charges less than Melio and their interface is way better, look into it.
