My banked has changed the way I access my account (upgrade). How can I update QB's connection info so it will connect

I'm here to help you with your banking concerns.

 

When a financial institution is performing updates, this will not sync automatically in QuickBooks Online. With this, I'd recommend logging into your bank's website from time to time to keep you updated with their latest news and upgrades. Let me guide you on how.

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Link account or Add accountNote: You won’t add an account, you just need the listed URL.
  3. Search your bank and then select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed below the bank's name.
  5. Sign in to your bank's website using the copied URL.

If your still unable to connect your bank with QB, I suggest out to our customer care support team to further assist you in connecting your your bank with QuickBooks. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Contact support page at this link. 
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online
  3. Click on Search for something else and enter a brief description of your concern in the search box.
  4. Hit Search.
  5. Select Start a Message.

As an additional option, utilize the trial version of SlickConnect to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank.
