I can help you add your Bank of America AAA Visa card transactions in QuickBooks Online, @Breesgal.
You can check on the following guidelines in searching for this account:
- Check the spelling. Ensure that the spelling is precisely the same as it appears on your bank's website.
- To find your bank, use very specific names. If you still can't locate anything, go for larger names such as "Citi."
- In the search box, type in the URL of your bank. For HSBC, for example, search for "hsbc.com."
- Look up the name of the issuing bank, which is the one that issued your bank card. The name of the issuing bank can be found on the back of your card. "Chase," "HSBC," or "Bank of America" should suffice, while "Visa" may be too broad.
If your bank isn’t supported yet in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you may send us a request to add it to our list of supported banks. The process of integrating a new bank feed may take some time. Our product engineering team will consider the number of requests and the approval of the bank itself.
Here’s how to request support for your bank:
- Go to the Banking menu and click on the Link Account.
- Search for the name of your financial institution.
- Select the Request support for your bank link and enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.
In the meantime, you can add your AAA VISA Signature rewards card transactions through the WebConnect process. You’ll have to manually download the transactions from the bank. Then, upload the file to your account. Here's how:
Download bank transactions:
- Go to your online banking account to get your file.
- Check or follow your bank’s instructions to get a copy of the data and then save it on your computer.
- Ensure that the data range is at least one day before your oldest transaction to avoid duplicates.
- Please take note of the supported file format and size. It should be either a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) or a QuickBooks Online (QBO) file.
- Download your transactions and save the file to your desktop.
To upload the file to your QuickBooks account:
- Go to the Banking menu and select the bank where you’re uploading the transactions from the Banking tab.
- Click the Link account drop-down and select Upload from file.
- On the window that appears, click the Browse button and choose the file that you’ll be downloading.
- Click on Open, then Next.
- Follow the onscreen instructions. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, then select Next.
- Click on Let's go. QuickBooks will now add the transactions to your account.
