Capital One .qbo file will not upload into QB Desktop Pro Plus 2022

I am attempting to manually import my transactions from the capital one website into QB. I have been doing this for 3 years now, and have just started in the past month to get this error message. I was on the phone with technical support for hours and they were unable to help. Any ideas?

Try running the Verify/Rebuild Data utility.

Did you encounter this issue only with *.qbo files from Capital One?

This has do to with the content of the QBO file.

It either:

1) Contains something that violates the official rules for OFX files, or

2) Contains something that QB chokes on anyway, due to one of its several bugs that make it non-compliant, which Intuit has elected to not fix for many years.

Yes, it is only with Capital One. I did the verify and rebuild and the error still continued.
