Join nowI am attempting to manually import my transactions from the capital one website into QB. I have been doing this for 3 years now, and have just started in the past month to get this error message. I was on the phone with technical support for hours and they were unable to help. Any ideas?
Try running the Verify/Rebuild Data utility.
Did you encounter this issue only with *.qbo files from Capital One?
This has do to with the content of the QBO file.
It either:
1) Contains something that violates the official rules for OFX files, or
2) Contains something that QB chokes on anyway, due to one of its several bugs that make it non-compliant, which Intuit has elected to not fix for many years.
Yes, it is only with Capital One. I did the verify and rebuild and the error still continued.
Utilize the trial version of this app to isolate your issue. If the same error persists, something is wrong with your qbo file
